Another 24hrs day

Man I just love how things can seem so easy then they quickly turn to Shit. We got to our destination at about 0130 and we were told the Chow hall was opened till 0200 wrong it closes at 0100. Then the roads closed down due to a sandstorm. So we sat and waited then at 0530 we were able to go get some shelter and wait for the Chow hall to open at 0600. We ate then came back to the MWR. I then slept on the floor( which was not good sleep on the hard floor) till 1030 when we could finally leave. Once we got on the road at 1130 (yes an hour of waiting) Everything seemed fine until I looked in the side view mirror and saw smoke pouring out of our truck so we had to stop in the middle of the road and assess the problem. Which was oil gushing out of the engine block. SO then we had to be towed the next 4hrs back to our base with the truck off (which means no A/C)and nothing to do but sit. I guess at least we didn't get attacked or somthing like that. On a better note I am now reading Harry Potter book 6 and on Chapter 13 right now I am really into this one. So off so I can go back to sleep
